The Space Between is third installment of Curious Sound Objects series.  

June 27th, 6pm to midnight at Aeronaut Brewery

 

Intervals, silence, negative space, people, the universe...

We keep the themes loose and the formal parameters strict.  The theme is the title of the show – The Space Between – however that stirs your heart.

The selected works will have a unique point of view, a polished execution, and an infectious experience. Think transformative rather than translational.


Submission Requirements

  1. Artist Statement + Bio
  2. Links to portfolio or photos of three previous works
  3. Images of proposed art work
  4. Description of proposed work and how it relates to the theme


Submissions are open internationally.  Selected artists are responsible for shipping to and from the show, along with any insurance and customs requirements. There is no fee to apply.

 

 

Rules FOR ARTWORK

Artwork must be a self-contained object that makes sound.  

Any electronic components, computers or mobile devices should be hidden.

Continuous sound generators should have headphones.
Interactive pieces can have speakers.
